150th Birthday Promotional Items


As West Virginia prepares to celebrate its 150th birthday, the Sesquicentennial  Commission is pleased to see so many local community birthday celebration planned. To bring statewide attention to these community celebrations, the Commission encourages groups to post their events to their online statewide calendar of events.  The online calendar gets a great deal of traffic and is a terrific way for these groups to receive free advertising.  The Commission would also like to support these local events by providing promotional items.    These official 150th birthday items are available to groups on a first come first served basis.   To request items for your celebration, please review the guidelines and complete the form below.

  • Promotional items will be provided by the Sesquicentennial Commission to groups planning events celebrating West Virginia’s 150th Birthday
  • Promotional items are limited and will be provided on a first come first served basis.
  • Promotional items will be provided for public events only and are not for resale.
  • The quantity of promotional items provided to each group will be determined by the expected number of participants.
  • To request promotional items, groups must post their event to the online statewide calendar of events.
  • All requests for promotional items must be made using this form.
  • Groups who receive promotional items must use the official Sesquicentennial logo on all marketing materials.
  • Selling of items with the Sesquicentennial logo is strictly prohibited.
